OVERVIEW

The counseling department supports students by promoting student engagement and learning as we work to assist students in achieving their academic, career and personal goals. The counseling department also utilizes a variety of supports to help address the needs of all students. It is our hope that our students will be able to think critically, independently and compassionately about the world they live in and become productive citizens who exhibit a responsible commitment to society.

MISSION

The mission of the Odell High School counseling department is to inspire and guide all students to reach their maximum potential through academic, career and social/emotional development and, in doing so, become college and career-ready world-class citizens. The school counseling department partners with other educators and stakeholders to advocate for equity, access and success for all.

VISION

The Odell High School counseling program envisions a future where all students are responsible and resilient life-long learners and contributing members to our community and global society.
